INDATA Statewide Assistive Technology Conference

Who: Anyone interested in assistive technology can register to attend.  All ages, All abilities.

What: The Statewide Assistive Technology Conference in Indianapolis, IN

Sponsored by the INDATA (Indiana Assistive Technology Act) Project

When: Friday, September 26th  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Where: Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46225

Cost:  FREE (Full Registration limited to the first 300 registrants)

Exhibit Hall only passes will also be made available.

There will be four tracks to the conference: Employment, Education, Recreation and Independent Living.  At least 50 exhibitors will be present to demonstrate equipment and answer questions.  A keynote speaker will be presenting during lunch.  Lunch is free to full day registrants.

• Both hotels connect directly to the Convention Center through an enclosed walkway.
• Both hotel are offering 50 rooms for a conference rate of $129/night. 
• Early Bird deadline, Friday, July 25, 2008.  Final hotel registration deadline, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 for conference rate stated above.
• Registrants must refer to INDATA as the group name to get the conference rate. 
• Both hotels have accessible rooms, but the registrant must indicate their request at time of booking.
• Both hotels have valet parking with in/out privileges:  Marriott is $28 /day and Westin is $25/day.
• Other parking is available within blocks of the hotels and Convention Center.

INDATA (Indiana Assistive Technology Act) Project

Easter Seals Crossroads operates the INDiana Assistive Technology Act Project, otherwise known as the INDATA Project. The purpose of the INDATA project is two-fold. The first is to get assistive technology into the hands of Hoosiers with disabilities through device demonstrations, device loans, computer recycling and alternative financing. The second goal is to provide statewide outreach educational opportunities regarding assistive technology capabilities, options and resources.
